Putting Safety First

Safety First – Our Commitment to Safe Scaffolding

At Elevation Access Ltd, safety is not just a requirement - it is the foundation of everything we do. Working at height carries inherent risks, and we take our responsibility seriously to protect our workforce, our clients, and the public at all times.

We are committed to delivering scaffolding solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship across every project we undertake.

Our Safety-First Approach

Every project begins with careful planning and risk assessment. We believe that accidents are preventable, and our proactive approach ensures potential hazards are identified and controlled before work begins.

Our safety culture is embedded throughout the company, from management to site operatives, ensuring safe systems of work are followed at every stage.

Trained, Competent & Experienced Teams

All scaffolding work is carried out by trained and competent operatives who understand the importance of working safely at height.

  • NEBOSH qualified consultant

  • CISRS-trained scaffolders

  • Ongoing training and toolbox talks

  • Clear supervision and site management

  • Strong focus on safe behaviour and best practice

We ensure that everyone working on our sites has the skills and knowledge required to carry out their role safely and responsibly.

Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS)

Before any work starts, we prepare comprehensive Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) tailored to each project.

These documents:

  • Identify potential risks

  • Outline control measures

  • Ensure compliance with UK health and safety regulations

  • Provide clear guidance for safe installation, use, and dismantling

RAMS are communicated clearly to our teams and reviewed as site conditions change.

Compliance & Industry Standards

Elevation Access Ltd operates in full compliance with all relevant UK health and safety legislation and industry guidance, including:

  • Work at Height Regulations

  • SG4:22 – Preventing Falls in Scaffolding

  • TG20:21 compliance guidance

  • Manufacturer specifications and best practice

We work closely with clients and principal contractors to ensure our scaffolding integrates safely into wider site operations.

Public & Site Safety

Protecting members of the public is just as important as protecting our workforce.

Where required, we implement:

  • Safe access and egress routes

  • Protective fans, edge protection, and debris netting

  • Clear signage and exclusion zones

  • Secure scaffolding outside working hours

Our systems are designed to minimise disruption while maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

Continuous Improvement

Safety is an ongoing process. We regularly review our procedures, learn from experience, and adapt to new guidance and industry developments.

By investing in training, planning, and safe working practices, we ensure we continue to deliver scaffolding services that clients can trust.
